What it is

Money planning that understands real life.

Your spending, your paychecks, your savings goals, your cash flow and your net worth — working together in one private place, instead of scattered across five different apps. Log what you spend in a couple of taps, plan around your actual paydays, save toward what matters, and see where your year is headed. No spreadsheets to wrestle, nothing to download — NestBest builds you a private space and quietly does the math for you.

What makes it different

Built for real life.

Your paycheck isn't always monthly.

NestBest understands weekly and biweekly pay, the three-paycheck months, raises mid-year, and the money you set aside from each check before it ever reaches your spending budget.

Saving shouldn't disappear from your net worth.

Money you move toward a goal is treated as savings — not spending — and it stays properly reflected in your bigger financial picture. Putting $800 into a car fund doesn't look like $800 gone.

Your budget remembers.

Unused money in a category can carry forward, and a shared contingency cushion absorbs the months when real life doesn't follow the plan — so one tight week doesn't quietly break everything else.

See a big decision before you make it.

Wondering what buying the car — or taking the trip — would do to the rest of your year? NestBest can model the choice against your real plan, not just tell you what you spent last month.

Wren, the friendly NestBest bird, holding a map

Meet Wren

Your money, explained in plain English.

Ask what's driving your spending this month, whether you're on pace for a goal, why things feel tighter than usual, or what a big purchase would mean for your plan. Wren answers from the very same numbers NestBest uses everywhere else — it never makes up its own.

NestBest computes. Wren interprets.

The math matters here

Built carefully. Tested relentlessly.

This isn't a play app. Your budget, your cash flow, your savings goals and your net worth should never tell four different stories — so NestBest runs on one financial model across the whole app, and that model is checked against many thousands of real-life situations: refunds, irregular paydays, three-paycheck months, money moved into goals, future-dated transactions, and the messy edge cases real households actually run into. When the numbers show up, they agree. See how NestBest works & how we test it →

Your financial life doesn't live on our servers.

NestBest creates your budget inside your own Google Drive and connects to it straight from your browser, using a single limited Google permission. There's no NestBest database holding your household's numbers, and no advertising profile built on your spending. Only you can see your budget — not the person who shared the app, not anyone else. Read the privacy policy.

Getting started

Three taps and you're in.

  1. Tap “Open NestBest” above. — or open the link someone sent you, then sign in with Google and approve the one permission NestBest asks for.
  2. NestBest builds your budget. It sets up a private budget just for you automatically, then a quick setup helps you add your spending categories and income. Takes a few seconds — and you can change anything later.
  3. Add it to your home screen. On iPhone (Safari): the Share button ▸ Add to Home Screen ▸ Add. On Android (Chrome): menu ⋮ ▸ Add to Home screen. Now it opens in one tap, like a real app.

Personal and family? Once you’re in, open Settings ▸ Your budgets ▸ New budget to create a shared household budget, then use Settings ▸ Share this budget to invite your family. A name pill appears at the top to switch between them — and everyone still keeps their own private one.

Want to snap photos of receipts? It's optional — in the app, open Settings ▸ Receipt scanning and paste a free key. Skip it if you'd rather just type.
